Remove Docker image pulling functionality

Why:

In T366778 we have re-evaluated the approach and came to the conclusion that it is no longer useful to have it. The landscape has changed enough to no longer warrant the usage

What:

  • Remove the pull_image_on_nodes function
  • Remove the single call of the function
